I teach and tutor every flavor and variation of Math to my students. Subjects offered include Pre Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, Business Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus I & II, Differential Equations, Statistics, and more. From middle school to college we cover everything here at Ascend.

I have been a private tutor for 11 years and hold an ACPT (Advanced Certification for Professional Tutors) certification. From grade school to college, I have extensive experience in helping students reach their academic goals. 

There’s no one size fits all approach when it comes to teaching. I believe in adapting my teaching style to each student's learning style. I use a variety of techniques and resources to make learning engaging and effective.

All our current private tutoring options are virtual and utilize virtual learning tools. However, we do have seasonal group sessions and events that are offered in person. Check out the Events page for more info.

Our sessions are hosted through Zoom. A session link is generated upon booking and included in your confirmation email.

The consultation consists of a intake questionnaire to get a feel for the student’s learning style, an overview of the virtual tutoring setup, and dedicated Q&A for the student and/or parent. After the session, we send our recommendations for future sessions including type and frequency.

Our Growth sessions are offered for students who need to learn the fundamental concepts outlined in the mathematical topic(s) they are working on. These sessions consist of developmental lessons and guided practice. Conversely, the Homework sessions are offered for students who need assistance with homework and require guided practice. These sessions do not include lessons.

Yes, we assign homework for all our students, because we believe that practice makes permanent. We understand that students often have homework for other classes and/or extra-curricular activities, so the homework assigned is minimal.

- There are no refunds for services rendered.

- You will be considered a no show if you are not logged in 20 minutes after session start.

- The full cost of the service will be charged for no show appointments.
